>I know of no safe depository of the ultimate powers of the society but the people themselves; and if we think them not enlightened enough to exercise their control with a wholesome discretion, the remedy is not to take it from them but to **inform their discretion by education**. This is **the true corrective of the abuses of Constitutional power**.

There are many obvious concerns about what is happening in the world, but these are not new issues, they go very deep many decades and centuries.
[[Alvin Toffler]], an American writer, futurist:
> The illiterate of the 21st century will not be those who cannot read and write, but those who cannot learn, unlearn and relearn
Very apropos these past several years, whether it is COVID, vaccines, or the U.S. Constitution - we need to be wary of those who seek to make things sound so complicated that they suggest it requires our unquestioning trust in their expertise.
Question everything, and look for deeper agendas, rethink and give everything a second thought.

> We continue to see the "dumbing down" of society as a result of government School performance in actually educating to competency. So, those who may desire to know the workings of government and what is right become frustrated & confused by their inability to comprehend the decisions of their elected officials. People then become apathetic and less engaged in their local politics.

> So we end up with an Unconstitutional train wreck with politicians dishonoring their oaths blaming everything on everyone but themselves leaving these government systems with ZERO accountability and the Average Joe doesn't know enough to challenge it!
